Single Tooth Implant
One implant and one crown, replacing a single missing or failing tooth without touching the healthy teeth on either side.
Based in Brentwood & Burbank · Serving Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Glendale & PasadenaWhy an implant for one tooth
A traditional bridge means filing down the two healthy teeth beside the gap to anchor it. An implant stands on its own, so the teeth around it stay as they are. It also keeps the jaw bone under the missing tooth from shrinking, which a bridge can't do.
Front teeth and back teeth
In the front of the mouth the goal is a tooth no one can pick out, so the crown is layered in porcelain and matched to your own teeth in shade and shape. In the back, where the bite is strongest, we often use zirconia. Either way, the crown is designed for the space it fills.
Never without a tooth
When the missing tooth shows when you smile, we make sure you're never without one. A temporary tooth is worn while the implant heals, and in the right cases the implant and a temporary crown go in on the same day.
Good candidates
You may be a good fit for Single Tooth Implant if any of these sound familiar. The only way to know for sure is a scan and an exam at our Brentwood or Burbank office.

About Single Tooth Implant
How long does a single implant last?
With good care and regular checkups, the implant itself can last a lifetime. The crown on top may need replacing after many years of use.
Does it hurt?
The area is numbed and most patients say it was easier than they expected. Some soreness for a few days is normal.
Can the tooth be removed and replaced the same day?
Often, yes, when the bone and gums are healthy. Your scan tells us if it's possible.
Implant or bridge?
A bridge is faster but relies on the teeth beside it. An implant protects those teeth and the bone. Your doctor will walk you through both.
